Oveview

Hi! I'm a hobbyst visual artist, creative writer and video gamer from Malaysia, and webmistress of Charger's Corner (Female, She/Her).

Like many others, I'm a witness to how social media and other mainstream spaces on the Internet have devolved in every aspect, especially in societal behavior of its users (myself unfortunately included at some point), and how most business entities employ increasingly predatory practices for their products and services. This, and more factors were why I decided to open a website here!

Before this, I saw a couple people make custom websites using Neocities and Nekoweb, but as I said in the home page, I put off making one because of my prior apprehension to coding in general. As much as it's (still) easier said than done, I realized that it isn't as scary as I've initially thought!

About me!

You can call me Charger, but if you're a friend (or just an acquaintance for that matter) who met me prior to switching to this one, feel free to call me by my older nickname(s)! I'm a Bachelor of Arts graduate, my chosen course being English Linguistics (September 2015 - February 2019).

I speak Malay (native language) and English (secondary). I used to learn Turkish as a third language, but unfortunately lost a majority of abilities and skills from it. I can still read this language's text and understand what letters make what sound, though, but that's about it. I should really pick up Turkish again some time. I aim to learn more languages as I go (but I'm keeping most to basics and only learn more if I'm super interested in a particular language or two.

As far as media following goes, it's basically all over the place, but my top favorites are DOOM, Madness Combat, Minecraft, Patapon, Plants VS Zombies and Roblox (oof at the last one tho because of what the company behind it has allowed it to become...).

I might get some media-related buttons/stamps for more things that I like on this page's footer box, but I'm busy with site-building, so maybe later.
